The object of a Strike2Win auction is to bid the Strike Price before the auction time runs out. The Strike Price is the highest bid which has not been bid by anyone else.

More than one person can place a bid for the same amount. If this happens, the bid is no longer the Strike Price, and then the bid is eliminated both for you and for the other person who bid the same amount as you. Once a bid has been eliminated, it cannot be bid again. Eliminated bids do not count toward winning an auction.

When you win an auction, the amount you pay for the product is your bid amount that won the auction (the Strike Price).

Every auction has a number of required bids which must be reached (this is similar to a reserve price) before an auction can end. When the number of required bids is less than 300, you can see the required bid amount displayed on each auction's page.

An auction ends when the time runs out and the required bid number has been met. If the time runs out but the required bids have not been reached, then more time is automatically added to the auction until the required bids are met.
